My media product mostly challenges forms and conventions because most music videos look professional and have a very clear and concise point whilst my music video tries not to look too professional and uses montage editing to create a ‘DIY’ feel to it. It does this using editing, low budget special effects and low budget settings.
For example if we compare my video to a video i analysed when i did my research, Dark of the Matinee, the video look very profession because of the the effects, acting and choreography present in the video whereas in my video the planning is not as evident which gives it a more low budget feel.
This is very basic. It does not show any actual knowledge about music videos, just 'guessing'. You need to go back to all your research and list the conventions here. Then think about if you followed them or not.
